Junipeer has dedicated connectors for popular payment providers like Svea, Mollie, Adyen, Qliro, and Klarna. For payment solutions that do not have a dedicated connector, there are workarounds that allow invoices to still be marked as paid correctly in your ERP.
PayPal and other offline/manual payment methods
Some payment methods — including PayPal in many configurations — do not have a dedicated Junipeer connector for payout reconciliation. These can still be handled by configuring Fortnox (or your ERP) to automatically mark invoices as paid when they arrive.
Configuration in Fortnox
Navigate to Invoice Settings → Additional Settings and enable Automatically mark Invoices as Paid.
When this setting is active, invoices created by Junipeer will be marked as paid immediately upon creation — without requiring a payout reconciliation step. This is appropriate when:
The payment is confirmed at the time of order (e.g. PayPal, direct bank transfer, prepaid orders)
You do not need per-transaction payout reconciliation in Fortnox
The payment method does not generate settlement reports that Junipeer can process
Note: This approach works well for payment methods where payment is confirmed at checkout. It is not suitable for methods where payment happens later (e.g. invoice-based B2B terms, pay-later solutions) or where you need detailed payout reconciliation per transaction.
When to use a dedicated PSP connector instead
If your payment provider generates settlement/payout reports (daily or weekly batches), a dedicated PSP connector gives you full payout reconciliation — matching each transaction to the corresponding invoice, writing off PSP fees, and handling partial payouts and refunds automatically.
Supported PSP connectors: Svea, Mollie, Adyen, Qliro, Klarna, Shopify Payments, Walley, Kustom
For providers not on this list, contact support@junipeer.io to discuss whether a connector can be built or whether the workaround above is sufficient for your needs.
